The correlative significance of the Chitinozoa-bearing horizon in the Caradocian profiles of the Leba region (NW Poland)

A rich Chitinozoa assemblage has been observed in five boreholes of the!.eba Elevation region (NW Poland) within the black mudstones bearing Lower Caradocian graptolites. These microfossils occur in a horizon of rather small thickness which, in a regional scale, may be regarded as a correlative horizon within the monotonous deposits of the graptolite facies.
