Upper Paleozoic trace fossils from the Gilf Kebir-Abu Ras area in southwestern Egypt

A trace fossil collection from southwestern Egypt is described, which is partly new for the Old World. It helps to answer stratigraphical and environmental questions as well as to understand the paleogeographical position of glacial sediments found directly above these strata.
