Abstract

Sedimentary evidence of two Pleistocene interglacials – Holsteinian (Karuküla) and Eemian (Prangli) and three glacials – Elsterian (Sangaste), Saalian (Ugandi) and Weichselian (Järva), are present in Estonia. Pleistocene chronostratigraphy is based on 69 sites and sections, studied by means of 14C, OSL/TL, 10Be and varved clay chronology methods
