The first finding of the Upper Cambrian trilobites from the Russian platform

The upper p a rt of the C am brian deposits of the R ussian platform (fucoide san d sto ­ ne) w ere attributed to the Lower or M iddle C am brian or both th e M iddle and U pper C am bria n (С гп з-гС тз). Two species of trilo b its are described, which allow to refer fucoide sandstones to the .Upper C am brian and to correlate them to the zone of P eltura of Scandinavia.
