Die Nodibeyrichien des Beyrichienkalkes The Nodibeyrichians of the Beyrichia Limestone

Geschiebes (glacial erratic boulders) of the Beyrichienkalk are characterized by species of the genus Nodibeyrichia which represent different stratigraphical horizons and/or regions of origin : the very common N. tuberculata and the rarer N. bifida as weil as the species of the younger Beyrichienkalk N. pustulosa (= N. gedanensis), N. protuberans and N. verrucosa. The species probably comprise different subspecies which would permit a more precise differentiation of the Beyrichienkalk.
