Abstrakt
The authors of the articles united in the bоок discuss the problems of origin, preservation and systematlcs of the fossil traces of the lif e activity sensu lato as well as an importance of the paleoichnological data for paleoecology, biostratigraphy, paleogeography, and paleoclimatology. Diverse trace fossils produced by the extinct marine invertebrates and by the terrestrial fauna (dinosaurs, amphibians and mammals) are described as well.
