Devonian Chitinozoans from Northwestern Argentina

Chitinozoans assemblages described from boreholes contain twelve species, of which four are new. Three zones can be distinguished within the Lower Devonian and one within the Middle Devonian. During the Emsian, strong paleobiogeographic relations exist with the Paraná Basin (Brazil), whereas relations are stronger with North America during part of the Middle Devonian.
