Beitrag zur Graptolithen-Fauna Schwedens

The occurrence of graptolites in insoluble limestone residues from the Ordovician of Öland and the Silurian of Gotland is reported. The Gotland samples include Holoretiolites simplex and Retiolites erraticus. Both species are known from glacial boulders of the "Graptolithen-Gestein" (Wenlock to L. Ludlowian), where graptolites are much more common than in rocks of equivalent age and facies from Gotland.
