Abstrakt
Paldiski pump-hüdroaukumulatsioonijaama ehitusgeoloogilise uuringu puuraukude geofüüsikaline sondeerimine teostati Inseneribüroo STEIGER tellimusel. Downhole logging and data analysis were made for the project “Geological investigations & Design work for the Paldiski 500MW Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project in the Republic of Estonia”. Geo-logical Survey of Estonia was contracted by Engineering Bureau STEIGER to perform the downhole logging. The logging operations fieldwork was done at Paldiski, starting from 13th of April until 10th of August 2020. The equipment used for downhole logging is produced by Robertson Geo Ltd. Downhole logging was made in three boreholes drilled to the crystalline basement (PAL-1, PAL-2, PAL-3) and one Cm-V aquifer groundwater survey well (PAL-Well). The geophysical downhole logging measurement methods include: 3-arm caliper (CALP), Natural gamma (NGAM), High-resolution Spinner Flowmeter (HRSF), Fluid conductivity and temperature (EC and temp), High-resolution Optical televiewer (OPTV) with borehole deviation, High-resolution Acoustic televiewer (ATV) with borehole deviation, Borehole inclination and direction (only in uncased section). From OPTV and ATV measurements rock joints (nurk ja aimuut) were picked using WellCAD software.
