Abstrakt
The results of research into the focuses of the self-igniting masses of dictyonema shale by the natural field method applied in geophysics, have enabled us to acquire knowledge of the dynamics of the self-ignition process, and to detect, in good time, self-ignition foci of kerogen-containing argillites—dictyonema shales in storages and dumps, determine the main trends of preventing self-ignition, and predict the temperature in dictyonema shale masses.
