Abstrakt
It was shown gas chromalographically, bу parlial mild selective permanganate oxidation of unsaturaled acids in the mixture of saturaled ones, separating the unbranched homologues in the adduct urea formation that the fractions of the extracts from dictyonema oil shale соntаin, besides saturated fatty acids common to ancient sediments, also unsalurated oleic and palmitoleic acids as well as bacterial iso- and anteiso-C15 and С17 acids. The presence of uпsaturaled fatty acids in recent and ancient sediments is discussed.
