Pterygotid Eurypterids from the Upper Silurian of Podolia (Ukraine)

Fossil remains of the pterygotid eurypterid Pterygotus sp. were found in the early 1990s in the Upper Silurian of the Velika Slobidka locality (Podolia, near Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnitskyi Province, Ukraine). The collection studied includes two well-preserved coxae and sternites I–II (including operculum and genital appendage).
