Carinatosphaeridium n. g. (Acritarcha) aus einem Öjlmyr-Flintgeschiebe Gotlands (ob. Ordoviz.) [Carinatosphaeridium n. g. (Acritarch) from an Öjlemyr flint of Gotland (uppermost Ordovician)]

A palynological preparation technique permits to observe the same palynomorph specimen under the light microscope and the SEM. Carinatosphaeridium n. g. was found in an erratic boulder of latest Ordovician age. Its characterisic feature is a distinct carina surrounding the whole test.
