Abstract
In 1895 STEUSLOFF established three new ostracode species from an oolithic calcareous sandstone geschiebe (glacial erratic boulder) of Neubrandenburg (Northern Germany), all being primitiopsiomorphs. Despite of the revision of HANSCH (1991) the exact age of the boulder as well as the precise systematic position of the species were unknown. Based on Cryptolopholobus semilaqueatus MARTINSSON, 1962 the boulder could be parallized with the Silurian Burgsvik Oolithe (Ludlow) of the Isle of Gotland (Baltic Sea). Another of STEUSLOFF'S species belongs to a new genus, and the third one is a younger primary homonym but preserved as a nomen protectum.
