Lower Cambrian trilobites from southern Swedish Lapland

Lower Cambrian trilobites from the Caledonian margin in the County of Västerbotten (Väterbottens lun), southern Swedish Lapland, are described and/or figured. Species of the orders Olenellida and Ptychopariida are recognized. Probably all of the trilobites are from strata that correlate with the middle to upper Lower Cambrian Holmia kjerulfi-group Zone. Hobniu lapponica n.sp. is described. The autochthonous Upper Proterozoic-Lower Cambrian sequence in southern Swedish Lapland is briefly described.
