Abstract

Ampullula, a new monospecific acritarch genus is described, along with the type-species Ampullula suetica sp. nov. It was found in samples from the Hagudden section, Öland, Sweden; graptolite zonation indicates ages ranging from late Arenig to early Llanvirn.
