Kritische Bemerkung zur Gattung Pterospermopsis (Chlorophyta, Prasinophyceae) / Critical remarks about Pterospermopsis

Pterospermella n. g. with the type species P. aureolata (Cookson & Eisenack) is established for species of Pterospermopsis because of inadequacy of its type species Pterospermopsis danica Wetzel. The taxonomic significance of size differences and the relationships to other fossil genera and to the living form Pterosperma are discussed.
