Abstract

This work describes the discovery of a chitinozoan assemblage in some wells of southern Tunisia. This microfaunal assemblage makes it possible to establish correlations among Lower Devonian sediments. The presence of Chitinozoa in the Paleozoic sequence (from Lower Devonian up to Cambrian) of well No.1, has been observed.
