Abstract
Cilindrotomaculum melendezi nov. icnogen., nov. icnosp., a cylindric structure with meandrous outline and compact cross section, associated to the internal hollow of the shell of some mollusks, is described from the Lower Llanvirn shales of Ventas con Peña Aguilera (Toledo). It has been interpreted as a coprolite, possibly pertaining to a polychetan annelid.
