Abstract
The taxonomic assignment of Syringothenia bystrowi Obut, 1953 from the Ordovician of the eastern areas of the Leningrad Region is described. This species is assigned to the bryozoan family Alcyonidiidae with a non-mineralized skeleton. The description of the species is emended.
