Inconobotopora (Cystopotata, Bryozoa) from the early Katian (late Ordovician) Kullsberg Limestone of the Siljan District, Dalarna, central Sweden

A new cystoporate bryozoan species is described from the early Katian (Late Ordovician) Kullsberg Limestone of the Siljan district, Dalarna, central Sweden. This species, Inconobotopora intricata sp. n., represents the earliest record of the bryozoan genus Inconobotopora globally. The phylogenetic relationship between Inconobotopora and Botryllopora is discussed. Herewith, Inconobotopora is placed in the family Botrylloporida.
