Abstract
Two distinctive trace fossils from the Blackhawk and Star Point Formations of Utah, heretofore known only by the informal field names "plug-shaped burrows" and "plural curving tubes," are formally designated Conichnus conicus Myannil and Schaubcylindrichnus coronus n. gen., n. sp., respectively. Reevaluation of C. conicus prompted emendations of the original generic and specific diagnoses; Amphorichnus Myannil is considered to be a synonym of Conichnus.
