Remarks
Bromley & Agaard 1991: These abnormal cracks, having received the name Manchuriophycus spp. in the belief that they were algae, have been discussed by Häntzschell (1949), with whom we agree that their form depends on uneven distribution and thickness of mud drapes in sandy sediment
