Abstract
Aglaspidichnus sanctacrucensis n.gen., n.sp. is a new trace fossil from the Upper Cambrian of the Holy Cross Mountains (Góry Świętokrzyskie), Central Poland. It is considered to be the cast of the resting place of an aglaspid arthropod (Xiphosura). The origin of the trace and life activity of the animal during its formation are discussed and compared with the ecology of fossil aglaspids and recent horseshoe crabs.
